2. Acadia & Bar Harbor
Why we love it: Everywhere you turn in Acadia, there are gorgeous mountains, lakes, and ponds. In downtown Bar Harbor, you will find plenty of shops, restaurants, and of course lobster rolls!
Tip: Go to Sand Beach later in the day when people start to leave for the best parking spot, plus a great ocean breeze in the early evening!
3. Ogunquit
Why we love it: The perfect place to stop and break up the drive. Beautiful beaches, plus shopping, great restaurants, and places to walk.
Tip: Eat at the Beachmere Inn for lunch for excellent food and an even better view!
